Pip Kruger is an accomplished freelance illustrator who lives on the coast of South Australia in a small sea side town. She employs a lovely, folksy style that beautifully captures the essence of whimsy and love. Her illustrations are colourful, joyful and lively, she celebrate the personal touch and appreciates imperfections and wobbly free-hand lines.

Since completing her Masters of Design at the University of South Australia in 2012, Pip has worked for an international studio creating graphics for in-house children and life-style brands, freelanced from home for councils, magazines, the Department of Education and a variety of small businesses and most recently, has illustrated her first children’s book.

As an obsessive notebook carrier, the world around her is constantly recorded in pen and ink drawings. These drawings, taken from every day life, are the basis of her illustrations.
